Many hours ago, social networks spread a video recording a female student sitting eating noodles in class and being reminded by a lecturer. However, this female student was constantly arguing, had inappropriate words and attitudes, causing the class to be interrupted, making the atmosphere in class tense.
The video quickly attracted millions of views and many shares. Most of them thought that the female student's behavior was disrespectful to the lecturer and disciplined the classroom, while others thought that the whole incident needed to be considered for more objective assessment.
The incident is known to have occurred at Phenikaa University. The school said that the university environment is not only a place to equip knowledge but also a space to practice the personality, style and behavioral culture of each student.
Accordingly, the Student and Startup Working Committee has recorded cases of non-compliance with school culture rules, showing inappropriate attitudes, behavior and words in the classroom, affecting lecturers and classmates. These behaviors go against the ethical standards and core values of Phenikaa students.
The school also added that students need to demonstrate a responsible behavioral culture in cyberspace. Sharing, commenting or spreading unverified information related to schools, lecturers or other students is a violation of regulations and can damage the reputation of the collective. Each student needs to know how to select, verify and behave properly on social networks, demonstrating the courage and intelligence of students in the digital age.
"The school will strictly handle violations according to regulations, in order to maintain a healthy, respectful and civilized learning environment" - the school stated.
