According to Ms. Hieu, this flood repeats the scene from 40 years ago, the water rose and receded very slowly.


"Currently, there are 7 households that cannot return home due to deep flooding, they are staying outside. The local government is implementing a number of support measures to the people, many volunteer groups have also approached to support the people" - Ms. Hieu added.
In addition to Lung Pha, in Cao Bang province, some areas in Quang Han and Thanh Long communes were also flooded and locally isolated.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luan (Quang Uyen commune) - said: "The floodwaters have been flooded for more than 20 days, people are suffering a lot, all the furniture in the house is probably broken".


According to statistics, in Cao Bang province, floods caused by two storms (number 10 and 11) have killed 7 people, injured 5 people, damaged over 14,000 houses, affected by collapse, roofs blown off, ground collapse, flooding; over 11,000 hectares of rice and crops were flooded, broken, or buried.
Thousands of livestock and poultry died and were swept away; many residential areas were isolated and isolated; many major traffic routes, schools, medical facilities, irrigation works, electricity and water systems... were severely damaged. The damage after the two storms is estimated at more than 3,000 billion VND.

According to the Cao Bang Provincial Civil Defense Command, the whole province still has more than 1,000 landslides, with a risk of landslides with more than 1 million m3 of rock and soil that can endanger people.
