Dak Lak plans to support students from Phu Yen to attend school

Dak Lak - The education sector will have many options to support the children of officials and civil servants who follow their parents from Phu Yen to study in the locality.

On June 2, speaking with Lao Dong Newspaper, Ms. Le Thi Thanh Xuan - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province said that the unit is urgently coordinating with the Department of Education and Training of Phu Yen to deploy school arrangement for children of cadres and civil servants working in Dak Lak.

Thereby, effectively implementing the tasks assigned by the People's Committees of the two provinces and completing the plan on time.

According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training of Dak Lak province, in early June 2025, there were 208 students in Phu Yen who needed support to transfer schools to study in Dak Lak in the 2025-2026 school year.

Of which, there are 72 preschool and kindergarten children, 95 primary school students, 34 secondary school students and 7 high school students.

According to Ms. Xuan, for high school students, the unit has directed the professional department to proactively coordinate and receive information and instruct parents to carry out school transfer procedures.

At the same time, arrange schools for them according to the wishes of the family. The implementation process is implemented according to the documents prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.

For preschool, kindergarten, primary and secondary school students, the department will send a document to the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city requesting the Department of Education and Training of the city to receive students transferred according to its authority.

"For students entering elementary school, the department requests the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city to direct the People's Committees of communes, wards, and principals of affiliated schools to base on the wishes of cadres and civil servants in Phu Yen to adjust enrollment targets for schools. Thereby, students are admitted to primary school classes according to their wishes and in accordance with regulations," Ms. Xuan added.
