On September 20, the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Phu Tho signed and issued Document No. 1365/SGD&DT-KHTC on strengthening the management of revenues in the education and training sector for the 2024-2025 school year and continuing to immediately implement a number of measures to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.
Accordingly, in order to effectively manage school fees and overcome the consequences caused by storm No. 3, the Department of Education and Training directed educational institutions to extend the collection time and not collect multiple fees at the same time in the context of many families and students facing difficulties and losses caused by storm No. 3.
There are plans to support poor and near-poor students, policy beneficiaries, students in difficult and disadvantaged circumstances, in remote and isolated areas, students from ethnic minority areas, and students and families affected by storm No. 3.
The Department of Education and Training requests the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to coordinate in directing and guiding educational institutions to publicly implement commitments on education and training quality, quality assurance conditions and revenue and expenditure according to Circular No. 09/2024 dated June 3, 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
At the same time, strengthen management of funding mobilization for education in Circular No. 16/2018 dated August 3, 2018 of the Ministry of Education and Training, must ensure the principles of voluntariness, publicity, transparency, no coercion, no regulation of average funding level, no regulation of minimum funding level. Continue to direct, inspect, guide and implement measures to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 on educational institutions. Increase the mobilization of social resources to invest in education and overcome the consequences of storms and floods... Continue to review and count the families of cadres, teachers, employees and students affected by rain, storms and floods (especially families suffering loss of life and property) to care for, encourage, help and request authorities at all levels, agencies, organizations... to pay attention to supporting finances and materials to soon stabilize life.
