Benchards for Pedagogy, Medicine, Pharmacy, Artificial Intelligence continue to lead
The above regulation was once understood as that all schools must convert admission scores to a single scale for the whole school or for each major. However, in reality, the Ministry only requires conversion of the equivalent admission score. Some schools still announce the admission scores according to each admission method.
The highest admission score of Hanoi University of Science and Technology is 29.39 based on high school graduation exam scores, equivalent to the 1.2 level of admission score of 93.18; the 1.3 level of admission score of 95.64 and the TSA score of 86.97.
The Advanced Program in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10) has the highest benchmark score of 29.39 points according to the high school graduation exam score. Next is the Computer Science Program (IT1) with a benchmark score of 29.19 points. The hot majors all have very high benchmark scores such as the Control - Automation Engineering Program (EE2) with a benchmark score of 28.48 points; the microelectronics and nano Technology Program (MS2) with a benchmark score of 28.25; the Electronics - Telecommunications Engineering Program (ET1) with a benchmark score of 28.07 points. The program with the lowest benchmark score this year is TROY-BA with a score of 19.00 points based on high school graduation exam scores.
At Thai Nguyen National University of Education, the benchmark scores for many majors are over 27 points. The Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence industry groups also have relatively high benchmark scores. For example, at the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Information Technology major has the highest benchmark score of 28,19 points. Followed by Computer Science majors, (27.86 points); Artificial Intelligence (27.75 points); Computer Engineering (27 points),...

College is not the end
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Nam - Vice Principal of the University of Education (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), this year's admission season has many changes in admission regulations, benchmarks and the way of arranging wishes. Therefore, many candidates fall into a state of anxiety and concern while waiting for the results.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Nam also noted that even candidates who have been admitted to the school at their best should not be too subjective. After the first year, more than 10% of students drop out of school or retake another major. This reality shows that being admitted does not mean success, more importantly, effort and perseverance throughout the journey of studying and developing yourself, said Mr. Nam.
Sharing about the necessary luggage for new students, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Nam emphasized three important factors. First of all, it is the spirit of self-study and the ability to update new knowledge in the context of strong development of artificial intelligence, requiring students not only to learn but also to know how to approach, learn and master technology.
In addition, the Vice Principal of the University of Education encourages young people to always stay curious and nurture creativity, avoiding model learning. At the same time, students need to proactively participate in the university ecosystem through scientific research, startup activities, and connections with businesses. This is a valuable opportunity for them to develop their careers sustainably.
Giving advice to candidates, according to Ms. Tran Quang Van - a teacher at Ha Huy Tap High School (Nghe An), for those who are not lucky enough to be admitted, this is not a failure but a step to create momentum. Students can still choose other paths such as vocational training, studying abroad or reviewing to try again in the next year's exam.
