In 2026, the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that in any admission method, the source for university admission is candidates with a total score of 3 high school graduation exam subjects corresponding to the admission combination (or the exam score of Math and Literature and another subject) reaching at least 15/30 points.
However, in some fields, the Ministry of Education and Training requires a higher floor score for applying to majors.

Specifically, for the fields of Pedagogy, Health, Law, in the method of considering graduation exam scores, the Ministry of Education and Training coordinates with relevant ministries to decide the floor score for receiving applications.
For methods that do not use graduation exam scores (assessment of transcripts, competency assessment exam scores) or combined consideration, candidates must meet the minimum score conditions prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training or meet the requirements for transcripts and graduation consideration scores.
For the fields of microchips, semiconductors, and Railways, the Ministry of Education and Training also sets higher requirements. Specifically, candidates registering for majors in the field of microchips and semiconductors must be in the group of 25% of candidates with the highest scores in the subject combination of admission nationwide and in the group of 20% of candidates with the highest scores in Math nationwide (according to data published annually by the Ministry of Education and Training).
