On December 6, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) coordinated with businesses to organize the second job fair in 2024.
The fair has the participation of more than 50 domestic and foreign enterprises with more than 200 official, part-time and internship recruitment positions in various fields such as: Information technology, business, construction, finance, insurance, production...
The job fair attracted about 5,000 students, especially those who have graduated and are about to graduate, who have the opportunity to approach businesses, learn about job information, and intern at businesses. The fair is also an opportunity for employers to access quality human resources.
Tuyet Mai, a student majoring in Graphic Design, said she aims to find an internship position at a company related to her major.
"I have prepared my application to submit. If I am accepted for the internship, I will try to get an official position afterwards. If I am not accepted, I am happy because I have gained more experience in the process of preparing documents and interviewing with businesses," Tuyet Mai shared.
Duc Chi, a student majoring in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, said that by participating in the festival, he had the opportunity to meet businesses, thereby gaining more experience in interviews and job applications.
"I hope to find a job with a salary of about 15 million when I graduate," Duc Chi said.
Ms. Bui Thi Tra My, a recruiter at Anh Phat Company Limited in Ho Chi Minh City, said that the company is currently recruiting for about 20 positions.
"Students applying for the job, in addition to ensuring specialized knowledge, the company also requires soft skills such as English, IT, etc. Today the company will receive the application and contact for an interview later," said Ms. Tra My.
At the festival, 50 scholarships (5 million VND/scholarship) were awarded to students who overcame difficulties to study well.
