Dong Thap Electronic Information Portal reported that Resolution No. 19/2026/NQ-HDND issued by the People's Council (HĐND) of Dong Thap province on July 9, has stipulated incentive policies for management officials, teachers of public preschool education institutions, and newly recruited teachers teaching subjects in public general education institutions in difficult-to-recruit areas of the province.
This Resolution takes effect from August 1, 2026. The support implementation period is from the time the Resolution takes effect to the end of the first semester of the 2027 - 2028 school year.
The subjects of application are:
- Management officials and teachers working in public preschool education institutions find it difficult to recruit teachers.
- Newly recruited teachers teaching subjects that are difficult to recruit teachers in public general education institutions.
- Preschool education institutions, public general education institutions in the area have difficulty recruiting teachers and other relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals.
Accordingly, the support level for newly recruited preschool teachers assigned to work in public preschool education institutions (regulated in Appendix I attached to the Resolution) is 2,500,000 VND/person/month of actual teaching.
Management officials and preschool teachers working in public preschool education institutions (regulated in Appendix I attached to the Resolution) are supported 1,500,000 VND/person/month for management and actual teaching.
Newly recruited general education teachers teaching subjects that are difficult to recruit teachers in public general education institutions (regulated in Appendix II attached to the Resolution) are supported 2,500,000 VND/person/month of actual teaching.
