Thanh Hoa border inter-level school project accelerates before the new school year

According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, these days, at multi-level school projects in the border area of Thanh Hoa province, the construction atmosphere is urgent. Contractors are "racing" against time to complete the remaining workload.

Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of the leaders of Son Thuy Commune People's Committee, Thanh Hoa province, said that in recent days, the contractor has mobilized maximum manpower, resources and vehicles, urgently constructing to ensure the set progress.

The contractor mobilized a large number of officials and workers, organized overtime day and night to complete the remaining workload. Currently, the project has been completed nearly 90%, and is expected to be completed on schedule" - representative of the leaders of Son Thuy Commune People's Committee said.

Also according to a representative of Son Thuy Commune People's Committee, when the project is completed, the facilities serving teaching and learning will be more spacious and complete, creating better learning conditions for students compared to previous school years. Students studying here will have two forms of semi-boarding and boarding, depending on the actual conditions of each family.

Similarly, at the Yen Khuong Inter-level Primary and Secondary Boarding School project, Yen Khuong commune, to be handed over in time before the new school year, the contractor is organizing overtime, increasing shifts, and speeding up the remaining items.

Yen Khuong Inter-level Boarding School for Primary and Secondary Schools is built according to the policy of investing in schools for border communes, with a scale of 38 classes, meeting the learning needs of nearly 1,000 students in the area.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong - technical staff of Yen Khuong Inter-level Primary and Secondary Boarding School - said that to ensure progress, the contractor organized overtime, added manpower, and simultaneously deployed many construction teams.

Up to now, the items of the project are gradually being completed. It is expected that the project will be handed over on schedule, ensuring quality according to the design to be ready to welcome students in the new school year.

At the Na Meo Inter-level Primary and Secondary Boarding School project, Na Meo commune, the construction atmosphere is also taking place urgently. The project was approved by Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee with a total investment of more than 89 billion VND, in the form of renovation, upgrading and expansion.

After completion, the project will have classrooms, dormitories, and dining rooms, meeting the learning, boarding, and semi-boarding needs of more than 500 students, along with official residences for teachers.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nam - Deputy Director of Enterprise 852, Truong Son Construction Corporation, Construction Site Commander - said that the remaining work is currently mainly carried out inside the buildings, so it is not much affected by weather conditions as before.

Along with that, the unit has proactively sourced materials, supplies, and equipment, organized overtime construction, increased shifts, and strived to complete and hand over the project before August 30, serving students before the new school year.
