According to the plan, the 10th grade exam marking in Ho Chi Minh City has been completed, the exam marking council is reviewing and comparing the exam results with computer data. It is expected that from June 23-26, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Ho Chi Minh City will announce the exam scores and the benchmark scores for grade 10 in 2025.
Many judges said that the Math score is better than last year. According to a teacher who gives the test, among the tests that this teacher gives, there are not many scores of 9 or higher, but there are only a few scores of 10 but only a few. However, the rate of tests with a score of 5 or higher is very high, accounting for about 80% of the tests graded by this teacher. "The tested exams are generally rated at 6-8 points," said the teacher.
Similarly, another teacher who participated in the judging also shared that the number of tests with a score of 5 or higher accounted for a fairly large proportion, at 60% or more of the tests judged by this teacher.
"Maybe this year the number of tests below the average will decrease significantly. However, the test score of 9 or higher will still not be many, equivalent to last year," he predicted.
Sharing the above is similar to the prediction of many teachers after the 10th grade entrance exam ended. Mr. Dang Hoang Du (a Math teacher in Ho Chi Minh City) commented that this year's Math exam is somewhat easier than last year, the exam with 5-7 points will account for the majority, the exam under 5 can be reduced.
"The exam is quite familiar, closely following the sample exam structure, so students are not too confused. Although there are difficult questions, this is a question for good students, with a differentiating nature for students," Mr. Du shared.
