Major General Phan Thanh Tam, born in 1967, hometown in Dien Ban district, Quang Nam province, once held the position of Deputy Director of Gia Lai Provincial Police.
From June 2020, the Ministry of Public Security transferred and appointed Major General Phan Thanh Tam to take up and hold the position of Director of Phu Yen Provincial Police.
