Nearly 95 billion VND to build Chi Lang 2 Primary School
The Chi Lang 2 Primary School New Construction Project was approved under Decision No. 1458/QD-UBND dated May 28, 2025 of the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee.
This is a Group B project with a total investment of nearly 95 billion VND from public investment capital, of which the cost of compensation, support and resettlement is nearly 13.6 billion VND; the construction cost is nearly 56.7 billion VND; the equipment cost is more than 6.1 billion VND; the rest is the costs: Project management, construction investment consulting, contingency, etc.
According to the investigation of Lao Dong Newspaper reporters, the Lang Son Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board (Project Investor) has just issued a notice of bidding for the package "Construction and installation of equipment for the construction of the new Chi Lang 2 Primary School".
The above package was widely bid online, priced at more than 67.1 billion VND from the provincial budget, the bid payment date is December 26, 2025, the package implementation period is 360 days.
In the coming time, after having the results of contractor selection, the construction unit will deploy the package in Luong Van Chi ward, Lang Son province (Chi Lang ward, old Lang Son city).
Completing the necessary conditions for the school to be recognized as meeting National Standard Phase 1
According to the project documents, the newly built Chi Lang 2 Primary School will meet the teaching and learning requirements for 665 students, with the following scale:
Reclaim and clear the land for the construction of Chi Lang 2 Primary School with a total area of 10,035.5m2 according to the plan. Of which, the land area for school construction is 8,536.0m2, the area for expanding Van Vi Street, the section adjacent to the school is 1,499.5m2.
The total ground level area is 8,475.44m2, the volume of fill is about 42,271.1m3. demolish existing civil housing projects to clear the construction site.
Build 2 new blocks of classrooms combining administration, multi-purpose, kitchen and parking lot with a construction area of 1,960m2; total floor area of 5,838m2; the highest floor is 4 floors. Install lighting systems, water supply and drainage systems inside and outside the house; complete lightning and fire prevention and fighting systems.
Build new items of the embankment with a length of 157m; 1 main gate with a width of 9.1m and 1 side gate with a width of 5.1m; the fence adjacent to Van Vi Street and the yard in front of the school gate is about 209.4m long, the fence is on the concrete embankment with a roof made of zinc steel and is about 140.1m long.
Along with that, the duty house and a 1-storey pumping plant with an area of 25m2; underground water tank combined with fire prevention and fighting capacity of 250m3; concrete brick schoolyard with an area of about 2,065m2; children's playground and internal concrete road with an area of about 1,425m2.
With the road, the road surface will be expanded with an area of about 452.48m2; a new sidewalk will be built on Van Vi Street adjacent to the land for the construction of the school with an area of 762.76m2. Build a new underground drainage system on the sidewalk and an underground sewer system connected to the current water collection system in the area.
The package will also plant new shade trees in the school yard; install equipment: Light electricity, fire prevention and fighting, domestic water pumps; teaching and working equipment for the school to ensure the facilities are qualified for Chi Lang Primary School to meet national standards level 2.
The investment goal of the project is to build a new facility for Chi Lang 2 Primary School to meet National Level 2 standards to expand the scale of the school, meeting the learning needs of the locality after the arrangement of administrative units. Thereby, completing the necessary conditions for Chi Lang Primary School to be recognized as meeting National Standard Phase 1.
At the same time, renovate the traffic infrastructure of the surrounding area, including expanding sidewalks and road surfaces on Van Vi route (the section adjacent to the school construction site) according to the plan, to ensure traffic safety and create favorable conditions for parents to pick up and drop off students.
