Gia Lai supports tuition fees for students studying semiconductor and artificial intelligence industry

Gia Lai - The province has launched a series of preferential policies to attract students to study semiconductor, artificial intelligence, safety and network security industries from 2025.

On July 15, Quy Nhon University organized the announcement of 2025 enrollment information and preferential policies for students studying semiconductor, artificial intelligence, safety and network security industries.

At the press conference, the leaders of Quy Nhon University informed about the project to develop human resources in the fields of semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence (AI), cyber safety and security for the period 2025-2030 approved by Gia Lai province.

In particular, the goal of the project is to train at least 7,500 engineers, bachelors and highly qualified experts to meet the needs of high-tech industrial development in Vietnam.

Quy Nhon University was assigned the key role in implementing the project. Currently, the school has invested in technical infrastructure with a shared semiconductor technology laboratory system with a total investment of 120 billion VND.

In the 2025 admission season, Quy Nhon University has 4 majors in semiconductor industry, artificial intelligence, safety and network security according to the project.

These are electronics - telecommunications engineering (specializing in microchip design), technical physics (specializing in packaging processing technology - microchip testing), artificial intelligence, information technology (specializing in network safety - security).

These are majors that are of particular interest to the new Gia Lai province in the context of digital transformation and high-tech industrial development in Vietnam.

The leaders of Quy Nhon University also announced breakthrough financial policies for students who register to study majors in this field.

Including tuition support, scholarship policies, internship opportunities, and career development in the locality, domestically and internationally.

Gia Lai province will support students to borrow capital to study with an expected loan of 40 million VND/year and support interest-free for these subjects during their training.

In particular, students who commit to working at agencies and enterprises in Gia Lai province for at least 3 years after graduation will be paid the full tuition fee by the province.
