He achieved a total of 28.75 points, of which Math was 9.25 points; Literature was 9.25 points and English was 10 points.
In addition to the title of valedictorian, Khanh Chi also passed the English major at 3 specialized schools: High School for the Gifted in Foreign Languages; High School for the Gifted at Hanoi National University of Education and Chu Van An High School for the Gifted.

The female student shared that since elementary school, she has studied well and especially loved English and in grade 7, she set a goal of passing the English major exam.
Setting goals early helps Khanh Chi build a long-term, scientific study and review roadmap. This is also the reason why I feel comfortable and not much pressure when entering the 10th grade entrance exam - an exam considered "more straightforward than the university exam".
During the school year, Khanh Chi studied about 4 extra sessions per week with 3 entrance exams for grade 10. During the final exam review period, in addition to extra classes, I divided my time between studying Math and Literature for each subject into 2 days. The remaining time is spent on English, which is also a specialized subject.
About 2 weeks before the exam, I did not attend extra classes, spent time self-study at home. I try to eat regularly, sleep early, and feel comfortable. After the exam, I did not check the answer again because I was quite confident in holding on to over 27 points, which were definitely over 8 points in Literature" - Khanh Chi recounted.

On the evening of July 4, when the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the exam scores, Khanh Chi was in Ho Chi Minh City with her sister. Looking at the exam scores, I feel happy because the score is beyond expectations, but I did not expect myself to achieve the title of valedictorian.
"Friends texted me to congratulate me for being the valedictorian. I was surprised and very happy. Right after that, I called my mother and texted the homeroom teacher" - Khanh Chi recounted.
Overwhelmed with emotions - that was the mood of Ms. Tran Minh Ngoc, homeroom teacher of class 9A3 at Ngoc Lam Secondary School (Bo De Ward, Hanoi) when her students gave her good news.
Ms. Ngoc assessed that Khanh Chi is a good student, studying well in all subjects. Ms. Ngoc is confident that her students will achieve high results in the 10th grade entrance exam, but she does not think she will achieve the title of valedictorian because this is a very large-scale exam.
In all subjects, Khanh Chi is at the top of the class, every teacher praises her, but she is very modest and not traditional. With English, I think that is his special ability. When we were in secondary school, we knew Chi's English achievements in elementary school, she had a love for foreign languages so she had an early orientation" - Ms. Ngoc said.
Regarding personality, Ms. Ngoc said that Khanh Chi is a quiet, inner-city, and modest girl.
"Khanh Chi's course is a special class of students when it first studied under the 2018 General Education Program. This group of students suffered even more disadvantages when in grade 6, teachers and students did not meet each other much, mainly through the online environment.
However, in grades 8 and 9, when the epidemic was controlled, teachers and students returned to school, interacted, and talked, Khanh Chi became much more sociable than before" - Ms. Ngoc said.
Accompanying class 9A3 until the exam date, Ms. Ngoc shared that Khanh Chi's results, in addition to her own efforts, are also the support of the team of teachers in the school.
Conclusion 29 was applied in mid-February. Immediately afterwards, the school organized a completely free review for 10th grade subjects. The professional groups have proposed a plan in accordance with the circular for implementation, and teachers will stop reviewing when the exam date is close" - Ms. Ngoc recounted.
Sharing about her future plans, Khanh Chi said that she is considering choosing between the wishes of being admitted and setting a goal of pursuing a medical career.
I like to study Medicine because it is quite suitable for my personality. In the immediate future, when I get to grade 10, I will spend time reviewing and taking the IELTS certificate exam to increase my chances, avoid being crammed into my final years and applying for university admission" - Khanh Chi confided.
