On August 13, 2025, the People's Court of Region 2 (Thanh Hoa) will try the case of 6 female students who beat up student L.V.G.N (born in 2008, 11th grade at Nong Cong 2 High School), causing female injury of 23%, on October 5, 2024. The victim suffered a broken cervical vertebrae, had to undergo long-term treatment, and has limited neck movement. The family said they have not received any support from the female students who caused the injuries and hoped that the law would handle the case strictly to deter school violence.

According to the indictment, a group of 6 female students (from Nong Cong High School and Nong Cong 2 High School) used their hands, feet, and helmets to beat N when she tried to stop a fight between two classmates. The behavior is considered dangerous, seriously violates the health of others and causes social disorder.
The incident arose from a small conflict between two 10th grade female students, leading to an argument and fight after school. When the fight broke out in Tan Phuc commune (now Trung Chinh commune), N intervened but was beaten by a group. On December 9, 2024, Nong Cong District Police initiated a case and 6 defendants.
