2026 university admission scores tend to decrease
According to Dr. Le Anh Duc - Head of Training Management Department, National Economics University, the admission scores for majors and training programs of the school in 2026 are forecast to fluctuate from 23 to 28.5/30 points.
The general trend is that the benchmark score may decrease slightly by about 0.25 points compared to 2025. However, with some majors attracting a large number of candidates such as Logistics and Supply Chain Management, International Business, E-commerce, Marketing..., the benchmark score is still likely to increase from 0.25-0.5 points.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) predicts that the benchmark scores of top schools and majors with great attraction may decrease from 1-3 points, in which majors admitted using the C00 combination (Literature, History, Geography) are forecast to have the strongest decrease.
According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc, the reason stems from the change in the score distribution of component subjects. This year's Literature subject only has about 35% of exam papers achieving 7 points or higher, while in previous years this rate fluctuated around 62-65.4%. See more...
