Hanoi temporarily allocates more than 35 billion VND to reward teachers
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training issued Decision No. 1439 on assigning budget estimates for 2026, and at the same time temporarily allocated more than 35.3 billion VND for bonuses according to Decree 73/2024/ND-CP. This funding is allocated to public educational institutions to self-ensure regular expenditures to participate in the pilot ordering of educational services in the 2025-2026 school year.

121 schools in Hanoi received funding, with levels ranging from more than 30 million to 493 million VND. The temporary grant decision is considered a timely encouragement for teachers in the context of great work pressure and difficult income.
Previously, the Hanoi People's Committee had agreed on the principle of allocating funds, requiring units to deploy to the right subjects, in accordance with regulations and implement settlement and finalization according to the State Budget Law. In case localities lack resources, they will summarize reports for the city to consider supplementing. See more...
Bringing Tet into schools: Sowing cultural seeds, nurturing national love
Many schools organize experiential activities during Tet such as wrapping banh chung, writing calligraphy, making lucky money envelopes, Spring fairs... to help students understand more deeply about the meaning of traditional culture. At Nguyen Trai Secondary School and Tay Tuu A Primary School, students are directly involved in activities associated with Tet customs, thereby further cherishing the value of origin and love for their homeland.

Schools also integrate skills education and integration by guiding students to make videos introducing Tet homeland in English, promoting traditional craft villages such as Tay Tuu flower village. This approach both contributes to preserving national cultural identity and helps students confidently spread the image of Vietnam internationally.
At Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, the 2026 Spring Festival combines cultural activities with international exchanges and introduces STEM space, creating a bridge for cooperation with foreign guests. The series of activities has turned heritage into vivid lessons, fostering love for tradition and the spirit of integration for students. See more...
