Hundreds of preschool teachers are tired of waiting for promotion, Nghe An Department of Education and Training speaks out
A representative of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training said that there has been a document responding to the petition of preschool teachers in the old Yen Thanh district about being qualified but slow to be promoted, leading to disadvantages for many people.

Previously, Ms. Phan Thi Huyen, a teacher at Yen Thanh Town Kindergarten, representing many teachers, submitted a petition to Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, requesting to soon organize the consideration of promotion of professional titles from Grade III to Grade II for qualified teachers. According to statistics, the number of these teachers is about 200 people.
According to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, before July 1, 2025, the consideration of promotion of civil servants to Grade II is under the authority of the Chairman of the District People's Committee. After the district-level administrative units have ended their operations, the schools are handed over to the commune-level People's Committees for management, so the competent authority to organize the promotion review has not been determined.
