Tuyen Quang specialized students pass top universities
According to Lao Dong's update, by the morning of August 24, universities had completed virtual filtering and admission consideration for candidates re-taking the 2026 high school graduation exam for candidates at the Tuyen Quang Specialized High School exam site.
Representatives of Hanoi Medical University said that after the virtual filtering process, among the 41 students of Tuyen Quang Specialized High School admitted to the school, 6 students were officially admitted. Previously, these 41 students had registered 95 aspirations for admission to the school.
Among the 6 students admitted to Hanoi Medical University, 2 students were admitted directly to the Medicine and Odonto-Stomatology majors, and 2 candidates were admitted to the Ophthalmology refractive surgery major with the competency assessment exam scores of Hanoi National University of Education.
There was 1 student admitted to the psychology major when considering the high school graduation exam scores, D10 combination (Math, Geography, English) with an admission score of 26.2 (added 1.5 points because of IELTS 8.0, regional scores), 1 candidate admitted to the Nutrition major using the B00 combination (Math, Chemistry, Biology).
In this year's university entrance exam season, students of Tuyen Quang Specialized High School registered their aspirations for 122 universities.
Previously, Hanoi University of Science and Technology said that this year there were 78 candidates from Tuyen Quang Specialized High School registered for admission to the school with nearly 300 aspirations. On August 24, the Office of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that according to the decisions on arranging educational institutions of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, 10 Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers are reorganized into 5 centers; and 2 schools are merged into one school. Units after arrangement are directly under the Department of Education and Training.
Nhu Xuan Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center was merged into Nhu Thanh Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center.
