Do not use the results of the English proficiency survey of teachers to assess their expertise
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training affirmed that the survey on English proficiency of public teachers is not a competitive or individual assessment. The goal of the survey is to collect practical data to build a comprehensive view of foreign language proficiency in the education sector, thereby orienting appropriate development strategies.

The survey results are committed to absolute confidentiality, only individual teachers and the working group of the Project Steering Committee can access them. This result is not used to consider salary, bonus, discipline or any personal purpose, but is an opportunity for teachers to self-evaluate, adjust their study and self-development plans.
The survey was conducted from April 23-29 for teachers of public primary, secondary and high schools across the city. The survey lasts 90 minutes, including listening, reading and writing skills, designed according to European standards CEFR (from A1 to C2), developed and standardized by Cambridge Assessment English.
