A locality adds more than 31 billion VND to pay outstanding preferential allowances for teachers
Mr. Truong Cong Thai - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has just signed a decision to supplement the targeted budget for 2026 for communes and wards to implement the payment of the remaining preferential allowance for teachers in Buon Ma Thuot City (old), according to Conclusion No. 46/KL-TTr dated April 9, 2025 of the Provincial Inspectorate.
The total additional funding to implement the payment is more than 31 billion VND.
Buon Ma Thuot ward was supplemented with more than 3.9 billion VND; Tan An ward 3.8 billion VND; Tan Lap ward more than 4.8 billion VND; Ea Kao ward more than 11.7 billion VND and Hoa Phu commune more than 6.8 billion VND.
Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee assigned the Chairmen of the People's Committees of 5 communes and wards mentioned above to be responsible for reviewing subjects, expenditure levels and payment records; ensuring that payments are made to the right subjects, according to regulations, without duplication, and without allowing loss of state budget. Two Hanoi Medical University students disciplined after making statements about patients on TikTok
Two students majoring in Odonto-Stomatology and Midwifery of Hanoi Medical University were disciplined and dismissed from the position of class vice-monitor of academics after inappropriate statements related to patients on social networks.

On August 10, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Tung - Vice Rector of Hanoi Medical University - said that the school has taken disciplinary action against two students who managed a TikTok account that caused controversy in recent days.
Among them, the 5th-year male student of the Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery major was reprimanded, and the 2nd-year female student of the Obstetrics and Gynecology major received a warning disciplinary measure. Hanoi plans to exempt general education textbooks
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 4082/UBND-KGVX dated August 10, 2026 on the implementation of the policy of free general education textbooks and support funds at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
