A locality adds more than 3,400 10th grade enrollment quotas in 2026
On July 6, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa - Director of Nghe An Department of Education and Training signed document No. 2276 sent to Nghe An Provincial People's Committee regarding the request to supplement the enrollment quota for 10th grade in the 2026-2027 school year.

According to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, after basing on the actual situation of 9th grade students registering for 10th grade enrollment in the whole province, proposals from schools, localities and parents, the Department reports and submits to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval of supplementing enrollment targets.
The proposal to supplement quotas stems from a number of reasons such as: increasing quotas for students with equal benchmark scores; increasing quotas for high schools with too high benchmark scores; supplementing quotas for schools in areas where students can hardly go to other high schools due to too far distance if they are not admitted.
Specifically, for the high school block, the number of classes and students proposed for adjustment is 2,691 classes with 126,822 students. See more...

Ha Tinh Department of Education and Training speaks out about an exam room with 15 candidates scoring 10 points
In recent days, social networks have been buzzing with information about a high school graduation exam room in 2026 in Ha Tinh having unusually high math exam scores.
On the morning of July 6, in an exchange with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Department of Education and Training said that regarding this incident, the department has reviewed and grasped the information.
Accordingly, through review, it was found that the exam room belonged to the exam site at Ha Tinh Specialized High School.
This is an exam room with 24 candidates, of which 2 are exempt from the exam because they are eligible for exemption according to regulations, including a student who won a consolation prize (honorary) at the Asia-Pacific Mathematical Olympiad and a student from the Physics Olympiad qualifying team.
Among the 22 candidates taking the exam, only 3 came from schools outside Ha Tinh Specialized High School, the rest are all students of the school, mainly belonging to specialized mathematics classes 1, specialized mathematics 2 and natural science classes.
As a result, 15 students achieved a score of 10; the remaining 7 students all achieved scores from 9 to 9.75 in mathematics.
According to Mr. Cuong, in this exam room, most of them are students who are very strong in mathematics, so achieving many perfect scores like this is normal.
These specialized math candidates did not get a score of 10 in math in the high school graduation exam, which is strange," Mr. Nguyen Hong Cuong shared. See more...
