Hanoi is ready for the 10th grade entrance exam in 2025
The 10th grade exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Hanoi will take place on 7-8.6 with about 110,000 contestants participating, in the context of the first application of the 2018 general education program and the new enrollment regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training on the time of the test and benchmarks. Although the rate of entering public schools increased to 64%, the exam was still a big challenge for 9th grade students.
Hanoi has proactively implemented preparations since the end of April, comprehensively reviewing factors that may cause disruption due to administrative mergers and developing a plan to organize the exam stably. The city has arranged 210 exam locations, more than 4,500 exam rooms, with the support of more than 10,000 volunteers ready to handle emergency situations such as bad weather, traffic jams or forgetting documents.
In addition to the public system, about 100 private high schools in Hanoi are organizing 10th grade admission with the deadline for submitting documents of June 26 and confirming admission before July 22. Hai Duong organizes high school graduation exam in mid-May
Hai Duong province organizes a high school graduation exam for grade 12 students from high schools, continuing education centers, schools of Culture, Arts and Tourism, and Foreign Language - Information Technology centers who wish to participate. Each student takes 4 subjects, including Math, Literature (compromising) and 2 elective subjects from the remaining subjects, except for Industrial Technology and IT, which are not organized by many registrants.
