New powers of principals and vice principals after school arrangement
The Ministry of Education and Training has issued Official Dispatch No. 5555/BGDĐT-GDPT on guiding the organization and operation of public preschool and general education institutions after arrangement.
Appendix II of the Guidance on organization and operation of public general education institutions after arrangement clearly stipulates the tasks and powers for principals and vice principals.
According to the guidance, the principal is responsible to the higher management agency and to the law for the entire operation of the main school, branches and school sites; implement unified management of the entire operation of preschool education institutions; ensure the quality of nurturing, caring for, educating children and safety throughout the school.
Based on the scale, number of branches, school sites, geographical distance and actual conditions, the principal assigns and authorizes vice principals and individuals to perform management and administration tasks at each location; assigns and coordinates personnel in accordance with task requirements, ensuring publicity, transparency, and stability of staff; promulgates internal regulations in accordance with the arrangement model; clearly stipulates people, tasks, responsibilities, information, reporting, inspection and accountability regimes. Hue University explains why candidates receive notifications but still fail to be admitted
In recent days, some accounts claiming to be parents and relatives have appeared on social networks reflecting that candidates have received admission notices to the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University but were later not notified of admission. Even, there are cases where candidates have rented rooms in Hue, paid money, and only received this notice when completing admission procedures.
Talking to PV of Lao Dong Newspaper, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Hong Nhung - Rector of Foreign Language University, Hue University - said that the school has met with parents and candidates to explain the reasons. Dong Thap reduces 700 educational institutions after rearrangement
