Cases where teachers retire early due to arrangement are not reduced pensions

Answering readers of Lao Dong Newspaper, Lawyer Diep Nang Binh - Head of Tinh thong luat Law Office (Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association) said that the issue that many teachers are concerned about today is whether when they are eligible for early retirement due to arrangement, will teachers be deducted the pension benefit rate due to early retirement and in which cases is it guaranteed not to be deducted the pension benefit rate?
Based on Clause 2, Article 7 of Decree 178/2024/ND-CP (amended by Clause 6, Article 1 of Decree 67/2025/ND-CP), accordingly, the conditions for enjoying the policy of early retirement according to the working time with compulsory social insurance (BHXH) contributions and the number of early retirement years if they belong to the subjects in Clauses 1 and 3, Article 2 of Decree 178/2024/ND-CP will not be deducted from the pension rate, even if they retire early from 02 to 10 years compared to the retirement age according to regulations.
Specifically, there are four groups of subjects below who will not be deducted from the pension rate if they meet the conditions on age, social insurance contribution period and job characteristics:
