Do not put pressure on children to grow up with an carefree childhood
The seminar "For Vietnamese children to grow up with a stress-free childhood" organized by the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences raised the issue of learning pressure that children are facing. Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vinh shared the story of a student on the International Math team, showing that even the best students are under great stress. He questioned the origin of this pressure, from parents, society or students themselves, and emphasized that the important thing is not the destination but the way children go through the learning journey.

Experts agree that scores are not everything, and high expectations should not stop at academic achievements but should aim at the comprehensive development of children. Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vinh believes that primary education should not only focus on teaching knowledge, but should create a confident and solid foundation for children in the future.
In addition, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thanh Nam - Vice Principal of the University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi affirmed that pressure is inevitable, but children need to be equipped with problem-solving skills and develop endurance. See more...
