Hanoi responds to petitions on increased income for teachers
The Hanoi Department of Home Affairs has officially responded to the teacher's petition about not being entitled to the additional income policy according to Resolution 46/2024/NQ-HĐND. According to regulations from the Capital Law 2024, only public non-business units that have the budget to ensure all regular expenditures and do not have revenue sources are eligible for this policy.
Therefore, many secondary and high schools in Hanoi are currently not eligible beneficiaries due to having revenue and implementing financial autonomy mechanisms. This is the reason why teachers have not received additional income, although there have been many recommendations requesting to expand the subjects to ensure fairness.
Before the teacher's proposal, the city is studying proposals to amend and supplement the Capital Law and related mechanisms. This is expected to create a legal basis to consider expanding the beneficiaries in the future, towards a fairer income policy for teachers. See more...

Ministry of Education and Training announces the 2026 high school graduation exam schedule
According to the plan, the Ministry of Education and Training will organize for 12th grade students to try registering for the online exam on the Exam Management System from April 17 to the end of April 21.
The 2026 high school graduation exam will take place in 3 sessions (1 Math session, 1 Literature session and 1 optional exam session).
Candidates who are 12th grade students taking the 2026 high school graduation exam will have to take 2 compulsory subjects, Math and Literature, along with 1 test consisting of 2 subjects selected from the remaining subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Industrial-Oriented Technology, Agricultural-Oriented Technology, Informatics, Foreign Languages, History, Geography, Economic and Legal Education. Selling civil servant exam preparation materials on social networks
Before the information that Quang Tri province is about to recruit 416 education officials, many Facebook pages have advertised "exam preparation materials" for sale at a price of about 350,000 VND/set and organized online exam preparation classes, attracting the attention of teachers. The advertised materials include content about laws, circulars and specialized knowledge, but the authenticity is not clear.
Representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province affirmed that the documents being advertised for sale are not official documents, because the content of the exam has not yet been announced. Therefore, there is no basis to confirm that these documents are related to the upcoming recruitment.
Faced with the above situation, functional agencies have requested the police to intervene to verify, and at the same time advise teachers to be cautious with unofficial information sources to avoid being scammed.
