Quang Ninh Provincial People's Council has issued Resolution 83/2025/NQ-HDND stipulating the subjects and levels of gifts for the annual Lunar New Year for a number of social policy beneficiaries and other beneficiaries in Quang Ninh province in the period 2026 - 2030.
Article 2 of Resolution 83/2025/NQ-HDND stipulates the subjects eligible for gifts, including:
a) Labor Hero in the renovation period;
b) Households with military personnel on duty in particularly difficult places, the Truong Sa archipelago area and DK1 rig;
c) People's Teachers, Meritorious Teachers; People's Doctors, Meritorious Doctors; People's Artists, Meritorious Artists; People's Artists, Meritorious Artists;
d) Households with relatives who died in labor accidents at enterprises during the year in Quang Ninh province;
d) Youth volunteers who completed tasks in the resistance war and are receiving monthly allowances;
e) Party members with 60 years of Party membership or more;
g) Poor households, households escaping poverty, households escaping near-poverty in the year according to the decision recognizing the list of poor households, households escaping poverty, households escaping near-poverty of the People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones according to the multidimensional poverty standards of the Government or of the Province for each period (except for poor households escaping poverty to near-poverty),...
According to the Resolution, the amount of cash gifts ranges from 300,000 to 2 million VND for individuals and 6.5 million VND for units. It is expected that over 169,000 individuals and units will benefit from the policy, with a total budget of over 69.2 billion VND per year from the provincial budget.
Specifically, the level of 2 million VND is applied to subjects a, b, c, d in Article 2 of this Resolution.
Thus, teachers in Quang Ninh province who achieve the title of People's Teacher, Excellent Teacher will be given gifts in cash at a rate of 2,000,000 VND/gift on the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year from the provincial budget.
