The entrance exam for grade 10 public high school in the 2025-2026 school year, Hai Phong has a total of 44 exam review boards. Of which, 43 councils consider exams for the non-professional block with a total of 1,102 exam rooms. Of which, 4 special exam rooms for 4 candidates need to be supported and arranged at the exam boards of Bach Dang High School, Hong Bang High School and 2 rooms at Tran Nguyen Han High School. All exam rooms are fully equipped with exam attendants and equipment systems to ensure security requirements according to regulations.
Candidates who need support on hearing aids in the exam room will also be fully supported by the Department of Education and Training, under conditions that strictly ensure security. The Steering Committees of some localities also arranged medical equipment and specialized vehicles, ready to serve candidates with health problems when required. The Department of Education and Training directs exam boards to operate 100% of air conditioners in the exam room to serve candidates to do tests.

The non-professional public 10th grade entrance exam in Hai Phong takes place on two days, June 3 and 4, with Literature in the morning of June 3, Foreign Language in the afternoon, and Math in the morning of June 4.
