On the afternoon of October 29, speaking with Lao Dong, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan - Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade - said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, each officer and employee of the school will receive a bonus of 25 million VND/person.
This bonus is implemented according to internal spending regulations applied from the 2024-2025 school year. All officers, civil servants, employees, and school leaders with a working period of 1 year or more, regardless of title, position, or degree, will receive equal bonuses.
"Every month, managers and lecturers working at the school, depending on their title, position, and qualifications, have higher incomes than other employees. During Tet, all employees have the same needs to celebrate Tet, and all have expenses for their families and loved ones," said Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan added that the school currently has nearly 800 staff, lecturers and employees. The school's Tet bonus fund this year is estimated at nearly 20 billion VND. Compared to 2024, the school's Tet bonus increased by 5 million VND/person.
Previously, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade announced the Lunar New Year holiday schedule for 2025. Accordingly, students and lecturers of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade will start their holiday from January 20, 2025 to February 16, 2025 (ie December 21 to January 19). The Tet holiday period is 28 days.
