Hanoi University of Science and Technology has 02 majors, directly trained majors and majors near the field of Semiconductor microchips. In particular, the microchip Design major in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering and the microelectronics and nano Engineering major were newly opened by Hanoi University of Science and Technology from 2023.
Currently, these majors are subject to tuition fees from 24 - 30 million VND/school year, applicable to full-time university students entering the school in 2024 (K69) and studying in the standard program.
The school noted that the above tuition fees may be adjusted for the following school years, but not increase by more than 10% per year.

The University of Technology (University of Da Nang) also opened a specialized training course in microelectronics - microchip Design, majoring in Electronics - Telecommunications Engineering. The tuition fee for this major of the school is 28.7 million/school year. The tuition fee increase roadmap is applied by the school according to State regulations.
The semiconductor microchip Design major in the field of Electronics - Telecommunications Engineering of Phenikaa University has a tuition fee of 46.2 million/school year.
In 2025, a series of universities will take the lead in the trend, opening new training for majors and specialties related to the field of semiconductor microchips.
Hanoi National University of Education announced the opening of 5 new majors including: Biotechnology; Physics (Semi-conducting Physics and Engineering); History; Sociology; Vietnamese and Vietnamese culture. In particular, the Physics major (Semi-conducting Physics and Engineering) received the attention of many candidates.
The school has not officially announced the tuition fee for the next school year. However, according to previous school years, the school's tuition fee was around 10 million VND/school year.

Schools under Hanoi National University also participate in the race, opening new training programs related to the semiconductor industry.
The University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) plans to enroll 3 new majors related to the semiconductor field: Data Science, Electronics - Telecommunications Engineering Technology (oriented towards microchip design) and Materials - microelectronics Technology.
The tuition fee announced by the school last year is divided into 2 levels: 32 million and 40 million VND/school year, depending on the major.

The University of Natural Sciences (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) plans to open a semiconductor Technology major. Previously, the school had a long time of cooperation in research and training for master's degrees and from 2025, the school will cooperate with Yang Ming Chiao University (Taiwan, China) to train a bachelor's degree in this major.
