The Ministry of Public Security has just issued the 2026 People's Police Enrollment Guidelines.

3 admission methods are kept stable as last year, including: Direct admission according to the current admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and regulations of the Ministry of Public Security; Combined admission of international foreign language certificates with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test; Combined admission of high school graduation exam results with the results of the Ministry of Public Security's assessment test.
The new point this year is in the direct admission method, the Ministry of Public Security removed the consideration of candidates who won first prizes in the national science and technology competition at the high school level.
Candidates in the national team participating in the international science and technology competition are also not eligible for direct admission.
In previous years, contestants who won this national prize would be directly admitted to the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting, the University of Engineering - Logistics of the People's Police, medical majors sent for training at the Military Medical Academy - Ministry of National Defense, information technology majors, network security and crime prevention using high technology of the People's Security Academy.
At the same time, candidates who are admitted to the national team to participate in international competitions will be directly admitted to any school according to their wishes.
However, with the national high school excellent student exam, the Ministry of Public Security directly admits both second and third prize winners instead of only considering first prize as in previous years.
Candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Literature, History, and English are directly admitted to the People's Security Academy, People's Police Academy, People's Security University, and People's Police University.
Candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in Mathematics, Physics, Literature, History, Geography, and English are considered for direct admission to the People's Police Academy of Politics.
Candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in English and Chinese are directly admitted to the English and Chinese Language majors of the International Academy.
Candidates who win first, second, and third prizes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry are directly admitted to the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting, Academy of Engineering and Technology of Security; major in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering of the Academy of Engineering and Technology of Security; major in Medicine of the Academy of Engineering and Technology of Security; major in Information Technology, major in Network Security and Crime Prevention using high technology of the People's Security Academy.
Specifically, candidates who are summoned to participate in the national team selection exam to compete in international and regional Olympics are directly admitted to any school according to their wishes.
Organizational capacity assessment exam will be held on June 21st.

Written exam format. Exam time is June 21, 2026, total exam time is 180 minutes.
For candidates in the Southern region who register for admission to People's Police schools in the North (enrollment nationwide), the exam location is in the South. People's Police schools in the North preside over the organization of the exam, coordinate with T04, T05 and T10 to support human resources, and the exam location is in the South.
