Not white powder, blackboard, uniform as usual, today, December 19, Nghiem Le Anh - a student of class 7A7, Tran Duy Hung Secondary School wore a blue shirt of a soldier going to school, attending the seminar to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army with the theme "Memoirs of soldiers".
Le Anh and her friends learn about the birth of the Vietnam People's Army, resounding feats,... in a very special way: Telling the story and staging. In addition, children also participate in games, puzzles, and learn about historical knowledge.

On stage, the art performance was elaborately staged by teachers and students of Tran Duy Hung Secondary School, including singing, dancing, short plays, stage productions...
Le Anh plays a child sent to the battlefield by his mother, trying to express it naturally, in line with the character's situation. Below, students attentively watched every detail and then the crispy fireworks.

"transforming into a character helps me somewhat understand the image of soldiers in the past, even though they were very young, they had to leave their families and go to the battlefield to protect the Fatherland. I feel the sacrifice, loss and difficulties that previous generations have experienced.
This way of learning history is very new. I also feel more knowledgeable, especially when I meet and listen to the direct sharing of veterans. Through this role, I am more deeply reminded of my historical knowledge" - Nghiem Le Anh said.
Le Minh Tuan - a student of class 7A7 participated in the role of illustrative dance. You and your friends had to practice very seriously to make the movements even and beautiful, in accordance with the program's content. Although I felt stressed during practice, when I entered the official performance, I was calmer and could perform the whole performance.
"No one in my family is a soldier, but when I was able to wear a soldier's uniform in today's program, I felt very proud of my country and the soldiers who sacrificed for the Fatherland" - Tuan said.
Associate Professor, Dr. Le Kim Anh - Principal of Tran Duy Hung Secondary School shared that, stemming from the desire to innovate education in the direction of going beyond traditional teaching methods, especially innovating the teaching of History, the school has organized today's seminar, thereby helping students learn history, remember history, love and be proud of history through being listened to, seen and felt with the heart.
"The students had strong emotions before the teachers' narration, before the forms of dramatization, along with the image, sound and video systems used in the seminar. From there, they are educated about the tradition of patriotism and national pride.
Through this thematic activity, students not only learn history and remember it longer, but also gradually form a love for a subject that is considered difficult to learn and remember" - Ms. Le Kim Anh expressed.
Mr. Nguyen Van Bao - a veteran of Yen Hoa ward, Hanoi - expressed his emotion when attending the seminar, seeing children on stage, recreating the heroic historical memories of the nation.

Mr. Bao believes that the lessons through practical experience are of great significance in educating future generations to understand the history of the country and the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army.
"Our generation is not afraid to sacrifice hardship, and has passed on the entire country's rivers to future generations. We are just afraid that the next generation will forget to thank those who have fallen.
Therefore, I really trust and appreciate the traditional educational activities of schools in educating children about ethnic traditions, arousing enthusiasm, national pride, self-respect and the morality of "remembering the source when drinking water" - Mr. Bao said.
