Based on the official dispatch of the Department of Organization and Personnel - Ministry of Public Security on announcing direct admission (Method 1) for candidates applying for second degree training (new recruitment) in 2026, the Admissions Council of the People's Police Academy announces the results of admission method 1 for university-level training, new recruitment for citizens who have a university degree or higher.
For men, the number of admitted candidates: 53 candidates (including the additional target approved by the Ministry of Public Security).
For women, the number of admitted candidates: 32 candidates (including the additional target approved by the Ministry of Public Security).
Candidates registering for method 1 can look up the admission results on the website of the People's Police Academy (using ID card information to look up the results). Candidates who pass method 1 will not participate in the method 2 exam held on September 20, 2026.
The Admissions Council will send notifications of method 1 admitted candidates to the Police of units and localities to coordinate in carrying out procedures to confirm enrollment for admitted candidates.
Before September 18, 2026, the Enrollment Board of Police units and localities shall compile a list and send an official dispatch to exchange the summary results of candidates confirming enrollment to the People's Police Academy.
Previously, the People's Police Academy announced the subjects and conditions for admission according to Method 1 (direct admission), including:
Candidates who are children of police officers with excellent university degrees;
Candidates graduating from universities with honors and excellent grades in some majors and specializations in the fields of: Science and Technology, Technology, Artificial Intelligence (graduating field codes 748, 751, 752).
Candidates graduating from university with excellent and excellent grades and having an international foreign language certificate equivalent to IELTS (Academic) reach 6.5 or higher (specifically, the biological child of a police officer IELTS (Academic) reaches 6.0 or higher).
Candidates graduating from university with good grades and having an international foreign language certificate equivalent to IELTS (Academic) reaching 7.0 or higher (specifically, the biological child of a police officer IELTS (Academic) reaches 6.5 or higher).
Candidates graduating from universities with good grades in Information Technology majors/major groups (graduating from major group code 74802) and having an international foreign language certificate equivalent to IELTS (Academic) reaching 6.5 or higher (specifically, the biological child of a Public Security officer IELTS (Academic) reaches 6.0 or higher).
