On October 18, the 11th People's Council of Binh Thuan province held its 26th session (special session) to review and decide on resolutions submitted by the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the audit report on the approval of the investment policy for the two projects of new construction, repair and renovation of some items of Hung Vuong High School and Duc Linh High School, both located in Duc Linh district, up to now, most of the construction items of the two schools have degraded, the current facilities of the school no longer meet the teaching and learning needs of students. And there is still a lack of some subject classrooms, learning and auxiliary support rooms, and multi-purpose halls.
Therefore, it is necessary to invest in new construction, repair and renovation of some items of the above two schools. For Hung Vuong High School, the investment policy of this project is to build new classrooms, study support - auxiliary rooms, 2 student toilets and a multi-purpose house. Repair classrooms and administrative - study support blocks. The total investment is about 44.5 billion VND.
As for Duc Linh High School, the investment policy for this project is to build new subject classrooms, auxiliary classrooms, student toilets, and multi-purpose buildings; repair the administrative block, classrooms; and repair and renovate auxiliary items. The total investment is about 39.3 billion VND. Both of the above projects are group C projects, with a project implementation period of 3 years.
After listening to the submissions of the Provincial People's Committee, 2 draft resolutions approving the project investment policy and the appraisal report, the delegates unanimously voted to approve 2 resolutions on approving the investment policy of the project to build new, repair and renovate some items of Hung Vuong High School and Duc Linh High School.
