The Military Enrollment Board - Ministry of National Defense has just issued Decision No. 402/QD-TSQS on issuing enrollment information for the competency assessment exam for university and college training in military schools in 2026 and the following years.
Candidates must meet the following conditions:
Currently studying in grade 12 of high school or equivalent; People who have graduated from high school (or equivalent or higher) within the prescribed time limit.
Having participated in the preliminary selection, and been concluded by the local Military Enrollment Board, unit, and school to be eligible for preliminary selection for university and college military training according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense in the enrollment year.
Contestants must meet all of the following conditions:
Complete the registration requirements for the exam.
Not during the period of being banned from exams or criminally handled or falling into the cases specified in Article 8, Circular No. 05/2019/TT-BQP of the Minister of National Defense stipulating political standards for officers, professional soldiers, civil servants and national defense officials in the Vietnam People's Army.
Fully implement the exam requirements recorded in the exam notification form; Understand the rights and fully and seriously implement the responsibilities of candidates according to the current Exam Regulations.
Registration instructions for the exam:
Mandatory information for registered candidates includes: ID card, mobile phone number, email, portrait photo (electronic photo) taken in 6 months up to the time of registration for the exam, photo on a white or blue background, face facing straight, head bare, not wearing glasses; Photo of the candidate used to be printed on the score sheet.
Contact information and academic results of subjects of high school semesters (12th grade academic results are not mandatory at the time candidates register an account). Candidates must read and agree to the "Agreement of the competency assessment exam" before registering for the exam session.
Expected registration time:
From April 20 to May 10, 2026 (after having the preliminary selection results, the Military Enrollment Board - Ministry of National Defense will announce the official registration time).
Registration method:
Candidates register online on the website of the Ministry of National Defense.
Regarding fees, according to the regulations of the Ministry of National Defense (Military Enrollment Department - Ministry of National Defense will announce in the document guiding candidates to participate in the exam). The fee paid is non-refundable for any reason.
Exam procedures:
Candidates must be present in the exam room at the prescribed time and present their ID card to the invigilator; Comply with the exam site's orders and the instructions of the invigilator to check and verify the candidate's identity, implement security requirements, and carry out procedures to request information correction/personal photo taking (if any).
Candidates' personal belongings (if any) that are not on the list of items allowed to be brought into the exam room must be kept at least 25m away from the exam room area. Candidates must preserve and be responsible for valuable personal belongings themselves.
The exam organizing unit/exam coordination unit is not responsible for damage or loss of valuable assets of candidates sent at the exam location.
