The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just issued a decision approving the 10th grade high school enrollment plan for the 2025-2026 school year in Hai Duong province.
For public high school 10th grade admissions, the public high school 10th grade admission period takes place on June 3 and 4. Candidates must take 3 exams: Math (1 coefficient), Literature (1 coefficient) and English (1 coefficient).
In which, the Math and Literature exam is in the form of an essay, with a duration of 120 minutes/exam. The English exam is in multiple-choice format, lasting 90 minutes. The admission score is the total score of all three exams (no exam has a score of 1.0 or less) and the priority and encouragement points (if any). The exam is built according to the structure of the entrance exam for grade 10 high school announced by the Department of Education and Training in 2025.
For admission to grade 10 of non-public high school and grade 10 of the regular education program at high school level, non-public high schools and educational institutions will implement the regular education program, and will conduct admission according to the admission method (based on the grade 10 high school entrance exam scores for the 2025-2026 school year or combining the grade 10 high school entrance exam scores and the learning and training results at the junior high school level).
Each candidate can choose to register for a maximum of 2 wishes to enter two educational institutions ( non-public high schools/educational institutions implementing the Continuing Education program/middle-level schools, colleges enrolling at intermediate level) in order of priority of wish 1 and wish 2. Candidates who are admitted to the first wish list will not be admitted to the second wish list. Candidates register to take the exam on the exam management system at the same time as registering for the 10th grade entrance exam for public high school in the 2025-2026 school year.
For the admission of Nguyen Trai 10th grade, the exam will take place from June 3 to 5, 2025.
In the 2025 - 2026 school year, Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted will admit 12 classes 10 with 384 students (32 students/class). In which, there are 2 specialized classes for Math; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, IT, Literature, History, Geography, English, French, Russian each have 1 specialized class.
Candidates must take four exams: Math, Literature, English (same topic and time as the entrance exam to public high school); Professional exam (according to candidate's registration). English specialized classes, French specialized classes, Russian specialized classes are admitted using English specialized exams.
The IT class enrolls 16 students in the Math exam, 16 students in the IT exam. Forms of the subject exam: English exam combined with essay and multiple choice; computer-based IT exam, the remaining exam is the essay exam.
Determining admission to specialized classes: the admission score is the total score of the following exams: Math, Literature, English (with coefficient 1) and specialized subject exam (coefficient 3). Based on the admission scores for specialized classes, from high to low to meet the admission quota assigned to each specialized class.
In case considering the final quota, there are many candidates with equal admission scores, candidates will continue to be selected in the following priority order: with higher professional exam scores; higher average score for grade 9 subject; higher average score for grade 9 end-of-school subjects.
