Also on the morning of the fall of September 5, teachers and students of Huong Lien Kindergarten (Phuc Trach commune, Ha Tinh province) were excited to open the new school year 2025 - 2026 in a spacious and sturdy school sponsored by the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund.
The atmosphere of the opening ceremony was bustling with the laughter of children. The Golden Heart Social Charity Fund also supported the construction of Huong Lien Boarding House with a total cost of 2.8 billion VND, contributing to creating housing conditions for many teachers far from home to work with peace of mind in disadvantaged areas. Overcoming difficulties to happily go to school
The recent flood season has caused severe damage to the education sector in the North Central provinces. However, with the efforts of authorities at all levels, parents and schools, the opening day of the children here took place in a fulfilling manner, full of faith and hope.
In My Ly commune (Ky Son, Nghe An), the main school of My Ly 2 Primary School was swept away by floodwaters. Teachers and students were forced to open a joint school in the yard of My Ly 2 Kindergarten. Mr. Tran Sy Ha - Principal - was moved: "Seeing the school swept away by flood, our hearts were as broken as if cut. But we cannot let students interrupt their studies, so we have to temporarily borrow the village cultural house as a classroom.
According to Mr. Tran Sy Ha, despite many difficulties, the school's pedagogical team is determined to complete the task well, ensuring the curriculum for students in the flood-hit areas, not leaving students in mountainous areas disadvantaged during the school year. Currently, the school has arranged teachers to stay in the village and send to 6 other locations to maintain normal teaching.
In Thanh Hoa, storm No. 5 damaged many mountainous schools such as Bat Mot, Yen Nhan, Tam Thanh... Thanks to the timely support of the functional sector and benefactors, the facilities have been basically repaired.
