On the morning of March 19, Dong Thap province simultaneously started construction of 6 inter-level boarding schools in 6 border communes and wards. The groundbreaking ceremony is part of the program to deploy 121 boarding schools nationwide.
In Dong Thap, the main highlight took place at Thuong Phuoc 1 Secondary School with the participation of comrades: Le Anh Tuan - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Pham Thanh Ngai - Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Minh Tuan, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of departments, branches, and localities.

6 inter-level boarding secondary schools in Dong Thap have a total investment of about 1,876 billion VND, including: Thuong Phuoc Primary - Secondary School (Thuong Phuoc commune): 50 rooms, about 2,040 students, capital of more than 263 billion VND. Tan Ho Co Primary - Secondary School (Tan Ho Co commune): 32 rooms, about 1,240 students, capital of more than 310 billion VND. Tan Hong Primary - Secondary School (Tan Hong commune): 27 rooms, about 1,065 students, capital of more than 295 billion VND. Tan Thanh Primary - Secondary School (Tan Thanh commune): 27 rooms, about 1,240 students, capital of more than 300 billion VND; Thuong Thoi Hau Inter-level Boarding Primary - Secondary School (Thuong Lac ward), scale 31 classrooms, serving more than 1,200 students, total expected investment of more than 291 billion VND; Hong Ngu Inter-level Boarding Primary - Secondary School (Hong Ngu ward), scale 40 classrooms, serving about 1,600 students, total expected investment of more than 415 billion V

Speaking at the main bridge point of Thuong Phuoc commune, Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Provincial People's Committee Huynh Minh Tuan affirmed: "When these schools are completed, it will not only be the achievement of the education sector, but also a fulcrum of the people of the border region.
