Strengthening review for senior students

Nghe An Department of Education and Training requires schools to thoroughly grasp the sense of responsibility to each manager and teacher in performing professional tasks of semester II, school year 2024-2025.
In particular, it is necessary to focus on effectively implementing the 2018 General Education Program for all grades, while increasing review for grade 9 and grade 12 students to prepare well for the 10th Grade High School Admissions Exam and the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.

The Department emphasizes ensuring the quality of teaching in class, strictly implementing the subject program according to the school's education plan, ensuring the set goals and requirements. During the teaching process, teachers need to clearly identify the core knowledge and specific abilities of each subject, prioritizing time in class to form for students. At the same time, it is necessary to promote the guidance of students on self-study methods, including recording, systematic and central knowledge storage, information search methods and development of learning plans suitable for personal abilities.
Avoid overloading, causing pressure on students
Regarding inspection and assessment work, the Department requires professional groups and teachers to compile questions, periodic assessment tests, and competency assessment tests in accordance with the requirements of the program, avoiding creating knowledge overload and putting pressure on students. The questions and test questions must closely follow the specific competence of the subject, with appropriate thinking levels, approaching the structure of the high school graduation exam from 2025.
For grade 9 and grade 12 students, the Department of Education and Training directs secondary schools to organize grade 9 students to register for reviewing for the entrance exam to grade 10 high school according to the subjects announced by the Department; high schools organize grade 12 students to register for reviewing for the subject of the graduation exam, on that basis, arrange appropriate review classes.
To create conditions for teachers to focus on reviewing for students, schools need to review and adjust professional assignments, prioritizing teachers teaching final grade with entrance exams for grade 10 high school and high school graduation exams in 2025. At the same time, encourage managers and teachers to share difficulties, promote a sense of responsibility in reviewing and supporting students.
