On August 14, the People's Committee of Quang Phu Ward (Da Nang City) issued a document directing kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in the area not to receive congratulatory flowers at the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025 - 2026.
Instead, the locality sent an open letter to agencies, units, businesses, organizations and individuals, calling for joint efforts to support the cause of education and training. The ward currently has 9 educational institutions with nearly 5,000 students, many of whom are in difficult circumstances.
Forms of support include: giving books to libraries, giving scholarships, supporting school supplies and means for poor students; sponsoring recreation and sports facilities; accompanying health care, nutrition programs, ensuring school safety.
The leader of Quang Phu ward emphasized: "All for beloved students - Joining hands for the cause of educating people". All contributions can be directly contacted by the Ward People's Committee or leaders of schools in the area.
