On June 24, Mr. Tran Hong Thai - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - signed a Decision on transferring the status quo of 533 public schools under the People's Committees of districts and cities to the People's Committees of communes and wards for management.
Accordingly, Lam Dong province has 155 secondary schools, 208 primary schools and 170 public kindergartens.
These are public service units under the People's Committees at the commune level, with legal status, a seal and an account to operate in accordance with the provisions of law.
The Provincial People's Committee requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and cities to coordinate with the Chairmen of the People's Committees of communes and wards to hand over and receive, manage assets, facilities, equipment, finance, payroll, personnel, records and related documents.
This is to ensure the operations of the units are continuous and uninterrupted. Schools must revoke the seal and hand it over to the management agency after completing the reorganization procedures, the completion time is before June 30.
