On the evening of May 18, the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province issued a document requesting the People's Committee of Di Linh commune to coordinate with functional forces to verify, clarify and strictly handle violations (if any) related to the case of an 8th grade male student being hospitalized for emergency treatment.

According to the document, D. M. H, a student of class 8A3 of Nguyen Du Secondary School, Di Linh commune, was reported to have endured school violence for a long time and had acts that harmed herself. He is currently being treated at a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
Information about the incident has been transferred by the Government Electronic Information Portal to the Ministry of Education and Training.
According to the Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province, this is a particularly serious case, negatively affecting the educational environment as well as the psychology of students and local parents.

The Department of Education and Training of Lam Dong province requested the People's Committee of Di Linh commune to direct functional forces to coordinate with the school to verify the entire content, developments of the case and related subjects; strictly handle violations according to regulations if detected.
At the same time, the education sector requested Nguyen Du Secondary School to stabilize students' psychology, prevent the spread of negative information on social networks; organize visits, encouragement and support for student families.
Previously, as Lao Dong Newspaper reported, on May 16, social networks spread an article by a parent in Di Linh commune asking for help about their son, an 8th grade student of Nguyen Du Secondary School, having to be hospitalized after a long period of conflict with some students from the same school.
According to the family's reflection, the male student was repeatedly beaten, threatened and mentally pressured during his studies. Due to fear, he silently endured it before the serious incident occurred.
Immediately after receiving the information, Di Linh Commune Police coordinated with the local education sector to investigate the related contents.
Leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Police said that functional forces are working with families, schools and related people to comprehensively verify the case; and at the same time consider the responsibilities of the parties in the process of managing and monitoring students.
