The authorities of Tay Ninh province are coordinating with the Department of Education and Training and Rach Kien High School to verify the incident related to a teacher accused of sending intimate messages to a 10th grade student and being assaulted by parents.
According to the report of Rach Kien High School, on October 20, the Board of Directors received information from a teacher about N.T.T.L reporting that he was texted by Mr. N.V.T - a teacher of National Defense Education with intimate content and physical contact. L said she hoped the incident would end soon to stabilize her studies.
Immediately afterwards, the Board of Directors invited the students to work, took note of the reports and asked Mr. N.V.T to write a self-criticism, terminating all private contact with the students. Mr. T admitted to having intimate messages but denied any physical contact. Student L was discussed by the school's Advisory Board, who confirmed his agreement with the school's internal handling direction.
On the afternoon of October 27, two women - including L's biological mother - went to school with the reason of discussing studying but then broke into the equipment room to assault teacher N.V.T and insulted the Board of Directors. The school has reported to the Rach Kien Commune Police to handle the situation and stabilize order.
On October 28, the police continued to work with parents, student L and 3 related classmates to verify the posting of information and images of the incident on social networks. The case is still being investigated and clarified by the authorities according to regulations.
