On the evening of October 7, the Diplomatic Academy issued a notice to all classes on Wednesday, October 8, which will be held online, similar to the previous 2 days. From October 9, all classes will take regular in-person classes.
According to the university's Department of Higher Education, the decision was made to ensure teaching plans and keep lecturers and students safe in flooded areas or travel difficulties due to the impact of the storm.
The University of Transport also temporarily suspended in-person classes on October 8, replacing them with online learning for all three classes in the morning, afternoon and evening. For special classes (prament, practice, experimental, outdoor classes... the school noted that lecturers should proactively arrange make-up teaching schedules at appropriate times.
Due to the complicated weather situation of rain and flooding, the University of Electricity also announced that all classes on October 8 will continue to study online as on October 6 - 7.
Meanwhile, the Academy of Public Administration and Management changed its teaching and learning format to online on the morning of October 8. In the afternoon, the classes returned to normal learning (in-person learning) according to the schedule.
Similarly, Hanoi University continued to deploy online teaching and learning this morning to prevent the possibility of flooding continuing. By the end of the morning of October 8, the school will continue to update the teaching methods of the classes in the afternoon and evening of the same day.
Previously, proactively responding to storm No. 11 Matmo, universities in Hanoi switched to online learning on October 6 and 7.
