According to the investigation of the reporter, the authorities of Cao Bang province have recently announced the results of selecting contractors for three packages for repairing and upgrading facilities at three schools in the city, including: 3/10, Ngoc Xuan Primary School and De Tham Secondary School.
The three above packages were widely bid online, with a total value of more than 4.4 billion VND. The capital source for implementation comes from the sponsorship of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade of Vietnam (VietinBank) and other legally mobilized sources.
The expected implementation time for each package ranges from 60 to 70 days, depending on the scale and level of repair of each school.
Regarding the investment scope, after completing the contractor selection, the construction units will deploy the construction or repair of some classrooms, administrative blocks, toilets, schoolyards, and invest in purchasing equipment for teaching and learning.

This upgrade aims to significantly improve the learning conditions for hundreds of students studying at schools, many of whom previously had to study in a degraded environment lacking amenities.
On July 9, sharing with reporters, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai - a parent with a child studying at Ngoc Xuan Primary School - said: "I am very happy to know that the school has been repaired and invested in more learning equipment.
Many old classrooms and poor facilities make us parents always worried, especially during the rainy season. This upgrade will help our children study better and safer."
From a professional perspective, some teachers and educational managers in the locality have commented that investing in school facilities is a fundamental step in improving the quality of education.
Previously, in 2023, Cao Bang province also invested 72 billion VND from the state budget to build many new items at the Provincial Boarding High School.
The completed project will be put into use to meet the requirements of teaching and learning for children of ethnic minorities in the province; increase classes from 12 to 15 classes with a scale of over 500 students.
In the same year, the Song Hien A Kindergarten project was also invested with 48 billion VND, building a modern facility to serve the students here.
