On the afternoon of June 27, speaking with representatives of press agencies, Ms. Hoang Tuyet Ban - Director of Dien Bien Department of Education and Training said that in the 2 days of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the whole province had no exam preparation staff and candidates violated regulations. The exam was short of 237 candidates (of which 80 candidates took the exam under the GDPT 2006 program).
"Some candidates missed the exam due to being exempted from the exam, or due to illness, the rest dropped out of the exam. Sick candidates are instructed to complete the application for consideration of high school graduation special if they meet the conditions. Of which, there are 4 cases where candidates are sick or have an accident (before taking the exam) so they cannot take the exam" - Ms. Hoang Tuyet Ban added.
The department's leaders also said that after finishing the exams, at the Dien Bien Department of Education and Training Examination Council, the Ministry of Education and Training will establish an inspection team of 4 members, who are officials of the Son La Department of Education and Training and the University of Mining and Geology. The Dien Bien Provincial Inspectorate also established an Inspection Team for the marking of the exam with 12 members.
The 2025 high school graduation exam in Dien Bien is held at 28 exam locations with 341 official exam rooms (of which 25 locations are exam organizers according to the 2018 General Education Program).
The whole province has 7,641 candidates registered to take the exam (an increase of over 900 compared to 2024), of which, 611 candidates took the exam under the 2006 General Education Program and 7,030 candidates took the exam under the 2018 General Education Program.
To serve the exam, the Dien Bien education sector mobilized about 1,900 personnel from exam supervisors, inspectors to support forces, security, and staff to participate in each stage.
