On the first day of the 2025 high school graduation exam, at the Dien Bien Phu City High School exam site, contestant Le Viet Dung (class 12, Dien Bien Phu City High School) with a cuff-packed left leg, practice entering the exam room on the wings.
It is known that last April, Dung unfortunately had a traffic accident and broke his left leg. The sudden accident right before the most important exam of a student's life made him and his family worried.

At the end of the Math exam, despite having to move around with difficulty, Dung still smiled quite optimistically with the dream of being admitted to the University of Transport. Talking to Lao Dong, Dung said: "This year's Math exam is quite difficult, I am confident that I can do about 60%".
The male student added that the biggest difficulty was traveling. From the time of reviewing for the sprint exam until this official exam day, all travel was taken by her mother. Fortunately, Dung's wound is gradually recovering, so it does not affect his psychology and concentration too much when doing the test.

Waiting for her child outside the school gate, Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Tu (Dung's mother) said: "My house is in Noong Bua ward, and the exam location is quite close. Since her child had an accident, I have been the one to take him to school and take him for re-exams. It was a bit difficult, but as long as my child could go to school and take the exam with peace of mind, I would be happy.
The 2025 high school graduation exam in Dien Bien is held at 28 exam locations with 341 official exam rooms (of which 25 locations are exam organizers according to the 2018 General Education Program).

The whole province has 7,641 candidates registered to take the exam (an increase of over 900 compared to 2024), of which, 611 candidates took the exam under the 2006 General Education Program and 7,030 candidates took the exam under the 2018 General Education Program.
To serve the exam, the Dien Bien education sector mobilized about 1,900 personnel from exam supervisors, inspectors to support forces, security, and staff to participate in each stage.
At the contestants' points, volunteers will participate in supporting candidates, supporting in finding exam rooms, providing drinking water, free motorbike taxis, traffic diversion, etc.
