New policy to support students in disadvantaged areas
Decree 66/2025/ND-CP stipulates policies for children in kindergartens, students, and trainees in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, coastal areas and islands, and educational institutions with children in kindergartens and students enjoying policies. The Decree takes effect from May 1, 2025. Decree 66/2025/ND-CP replaces Decree 116/2016/ND-CP.
New regulations on considering awarding the title of teacher
Decree 35/2024/ND-CP issued on April 2, 2024 regulating the consideration of awarding the title of "People's Teacher" and "Excellent Teacher" will take effect from May 25, 2024. Decree 35/2024/ND-CP replaces Decree 27/2015/ND-CP dated March 10, 2015.
Adjusting policies to support pedagogical students
Decree No. 60/2025/ND-CP amends and supplements a number of articles of Decree No. 116/2020/ND-CP dated September 25, 2020 of the Government regulating policies to support tuition fees and living expenses for pedagogical students. Decree No. 60/2025/ND-CP takes effect from April 20, 2025.
Update university and college admission regulations
Circular No. 06/2025/TT-BGDDT amending and supplementing a number of articles of the regulations on university and college admissions in preschool education issued with Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BGDDT dated June 6, 2022 of the Minister of Education and Training. The Circular takes effect from May 5, 2025.
