Surprised when choosing a school, finishing with the title of valedictorian
Ending the university journey with the title of valedictorian is a great source of pride for any student, and for Phan Thi Thu Thuy - valedictorian of the K63 High-Quality Corporate Finance Program (CLC) of the National Economics University in 2025 - that feeling is even fuller with the support of family, teachers and friends.

When I knew I was the valedictorian, I felt both proud and grateful. Four years of effort have been rewarded, but the most valuable thing is the affection and support from those who are always by my side" - Thuy shared.
The first female student to call to report the good news was her parents, then her close friends and teachers - those who supported her on her learning journey.
"For me, this is not only a title, but also a reminder for me to continue to strive, to live worthy of everyone's trust and expectations" - Thuy said.
The female student recounted that at the time of applying for university wishes, she had a fairly good score to be able to enter schools in the economic sector. Although she had not previously learned much about the National Economics University or her majors here, as soon as she received the notice of admission using the combined admission method, Thuy decided to choose the National Economics University - the first school she was admitted to as a place to spend four years of her youth.
He did not stop there, he continued to try his hand at the school's CLC program and was lucky to be admitted.
It was a somewhat reckless decision, but now I believe it is one of my most correct choices - Thuy shared.
Looking back at 4 years of university, Thuy said that the second year was the most difficult period when she started studying for a major. The pressure of knowledge and confusion about direction makes you repeatedly doubt yourself. But thanks to the encouragement from family, friends and the dedicated advice of teachers, you have overcome. Those moments that seem to be the time to give up are the times to foster resilience and courage.
Discipline and initiative: The key to making goals come true
To maintain excellent academic achievements while still maintaining a relaxed spirit, Thuy emphasizes the role of clear planning and knowing how to balance.
"I always set specific goals for each stage, study in the direction of deep understanding of nature, combine reasonable rest and spend time on activities I love. For me, discipline and initiative are the keys to making goals come true" - Thuy shared.
Not only is she outstanding in her studies, she also actively participates in extracurricular activities, volunteering and many competitions. Those experiences not only help practice skills but also expand the worldview, forming a person who is more sharing and understanding.

After the graduation ceremony, Thuy chose to put the title of valedictorian in a respectful corner, to start a new journey with a modest mind, ready to learn. You aim to accumulate experience, improve your expertise, exercise and live a balanced life. More than her career, Thuy aims for a valuable life - where work, family, soul and community are nurtured in parallel.
I want to live not only to be successful, but also to be grateful, dedicated and spread positive things to everyone around me - Thu Thuy expressed.
